i spent the afternoon today @ my parents house helping them move their bedroom furniture and clean up my old room. i had files i had to go through to see what could be thrown away, recycled or shredded. after going through some files that were 10 yrs old, i ended up going through my correspondence box. i keep all letters/cards i receive. so it was fun reading through old x-mas, b-day, thank-yous and just regular letters. there were some i just couldn't read - like the bf i cheated on.. that one was sad. but others put a smile on my face. silly notes from old friends that i'd love to reconnect with again. i think it's just cool to read back to see what ppl had to say at one point in your life.
now i just have to get a bigger box. ;)

@bellabella - i keep all my old cards. true, it ain't stuff i need but i do keep them for sentimental reasons. everything else has a shelf life or can be thrown in the recycle bin.
i have a box like this. i haven't looked through it in awhile. i wonder where it is? hm.
